Guus Møystad

 

Guus Møystad (1992) is a visual artist, writer and storyteller based in Amsterdam. He is a chaotic hodgepodge of identities that never settle for long. 

This tangle is continued in his work, where story, text, image, performance, truth and fiction weave in and out of each other.

He draws from history, fantasy and folklore, and is fascinated by liminality - the interplay between individuals and community, inclusion and exclusion, tradition and renewal - and the boundaries and vulnerabilities of the body.
