While many trolls are naturally malicious, not all start that way. Pollution, frakking, and other anthropogenic causes are the most common, but sometimes a troll can be possessed by a malevolent spirit.

Here an evil spirit has inhabited the hill troll and turned it into a garden for its evil purposes.
